2) International Symposium on Economics of e-Commerce and Networking Decisions

 

International Symposium of Economics of E-Commerce and Networking Decisions was held on July 7th., 8th., 2001 at Caulfield Campus, Monash University, Victoria, Australia, Melbourne. The symposium was hosted by Faculty of Business and Economics, Monash University, sponsored by the Productivity Commission.

One of the keynote speakers is Professor Paul Milgrom of Harvard University and MIT, who is well known for his work on the economics of Internet and contract. Theories and case studies of e-marketing, e-taxation, e-currency, share prices of e-business, teaching of e-business courses and etc. were discussed.

The symposium invited contributed papers in all research areas and case studies of e-business. A network was developed in the meeting to share experience of teaching, research, consultancy, reading guides, textbooks, thesis writing, and training workshops in this field. The book of papers collection from this symposium is editing now. Prof. Guang-Zhen Sun is in charge of this.

1) International Conference on Increasing Return and Economic Analysis

This is the first symposium of inframarginal economics. It was held in September 1995. Those papers contributed to this symposium are all collected in the book: "Increasing Returns and Economic Analysis".
